Stall Holders

STALL HOLDERS PRESS RELEASE

The 2022 Keltic Fair has been cancelled.

The trustees of the Coromandel Education Advancement Trust (CEDACT) and Coromandel Area School (CAS) wish to announce their decision to not hold the Coromandel Peninsula's premier summer holiday community fair event, the Keltic Fair, on 2 Jan 2022.

We know this will come as an enormous disappointment to our local businesses, community groups, stall holders and the many, many thousands of people that come to our wonderful town for this event.

This is not a decision we have taken lightly as this would have been the 32nd consecutive fair. Although we would legally permitted to hold the fair if the traffic light system remained 'orange' for this region, the trustees believed that the overriding concern for protecting the health of the members of our community and the overall health of the public must be a priority over all other concerns.

We thank the stall holders that had already committed to the 2022 fair. We wish to offer you the o pportunity to roll your stall fee that you have already paid to the 2023 fair.

If you would prefer to receive a refund, please let us know before 20 December 2021. Please advise your stall number and the bank details for the refund to be processed to.

Thank you for your support in the past and upcoming fairs. The fair is nothing without your attendance.

We are now focused on the 2023 Keltic Fair and enjoying a much anticipated ceilidh (KAY-lee).
