Rules for the Keltic Fair


  • The registration is non-refundable
  • The fair will operate rain or shine
  • Venue: Coromandel Area School grounds - gate will be manned by Fair organisers.
  • Vehicular access:
    On the 1st of January you can access the site from 4-9pm. On the 2nd of January from 6-8:30am.
    Access for vehicles to the Fair grounds will close at 8.30 a.m.
    PLEASE NOTE: If you arrive after 8.30 you will have to carry your produce to your site.
  • School Policy is NO DOGS, NO ALCOHOL, NO SMOKING.
  • Camping: Camping on your site the night before the Fair (1 January) and the night of the fair (2 January) is permitted only for stall holders with the overnight camping pass obtained with your fair registration. The camping fee is $25 per night and site for two people.
  • Rubbish: There will be sufficient rubbish bins placed around the Fair ground.
    please ensure your site is tidy with all rubbish picked up before you leave.
  • Products for sale: The committee will review the contents of each stall and reserves the right to expel stall holders selling goods or services it deems inappropriate. Please no drug paraphernalia!
  • Fair Office: All enquiries on the day can be taken to Keltic Corner (opposite the stage).
    There will be Police presence and the Fair organisers request any incidents are reported in the first instance to Keltic Corner.
  • Arrive on time: We recommend you allow at least 75 minutes travel time from Thames to Coromandel (Christmas traffic!)
The Fair will be officially opened with a parade through the main street of Coromandel at 10.00 a.m.
However as there will be members of the public admitted to the Fairgrounds long before this,
we suggest that you are set up and ready for business as early as possible.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE FAIR ORGANISERS AT THEIR PLACE OF WORK it is a busy time of the year
and staff employed by the businesses they work in are not paid to respond to Keltic Fair questions.


WE HAVE A FIRST IN FIRST SERVED POLICY we will try our best to allocate you the stall site you may prefer
but please appreciate there are 300+ stall holders to contend with.
